Working for record-breaking brands
After finishing art college with a BA (Hons) in Design and Typography, I was fortunate enough to start my career at a lovely multi-disciplinary design agency where I got to flex my creativity on all types of projects, across a range of global brands.
Custom lettering and design for Lyle’s Golden Syrup (anniversary tin), which was awarded Britain’s Oldest Brand by The Guinness Book of Records*

From the start, the agency’s ‘hands-on’ culture allowed me to develop tight project management, taking jobs from client briefing through to campaign launch; yielding an agile and fluent workflow, which I continue to apply to this day.

I've always been fascinated by the way technology can embellish design and this paved the way to specialise as the team’s Lead Digital Designer. Armed with expertise in user experience and the exciting, rapid pace of web technologies, I designed and delivered a wide range of digital on-brand experiences for clients, from sales apps to global corporate websites – a skillset that led to my current professional focus:
